Mike Mamo runs the Atoma washing station in Western Ethiopia. Under the guidance of Friku Demissie, the station just completed its first season, offering natural processed coffees. This season, they're also producing exceptional washed and honey processed coffees using an eco-pulper and Friku's expertise. We highly recommend treating yourself to this unique coffee.
Producer: Mike Mamo and smallholder farmers from Wanja Kersa Kebele.
Location: Wanja Kersa Kebele, Gera Woreda, Jimma Zone, Oromia Region.
Elevation: 2,000 masl.
Variety: JARC 74112 and 74110.
Harvest season: 2024
Post harvest Process: Honey. The coffee is pulped, fermented in tanks overnight, and then spread on drying tables and finally dried for 18-20 days.
